Founder

Melody

Melody Stotler is the founder of Life or Drugs, Tri-State Support, a nonprofit she established in 2013 after learning of her daughter’s struggles with substance use. As a mother who initially didn’t know where to turn for help, Melody began educating herself about addiction, recovery, and prevention so she could better understand what her daughter and family were experiencing—and ultimately help other families walking a similar path.

From 2013 through 2026, Melody served as a volunteer Executive Director of Life or Drugs, dedicating more than a decade to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use and connecting them with education, resources, and hope. While she is currently taking a step back from her volunteer role, her commitment to the mission and the community remains strong.

Melody also works in prevention with Morgan County Partnership, where she is passionate about helping prevent other young people and families from experiencing the struggles her own family faced.

She is a wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two. Her personal experience, combined with years of advocacy, prevention work, and community service, continues to fuel her passion for making a difference and reminding others that there is always hope.
